Alfredo Pedulla took to his official website in order to speak about the continuous links between Yaya Toure and Inter. The journalist said that although Manchester City consider Toure to be an important player for the present and future, the player wishes to play and be happy and because of this he could find himself back under Roberto Mancini at Inter. However, this is a situation that is still not fully clear and we will need to wait in order to understand the situation better.

If Toure is coming, I bet Icardi is leaving. The whole Icardi out/Darmian + Toure + Lavezzi in does somehow make sense to me, since Mancio is gonna want to invest a lot into making a more balanced squad, & the only way to do this is to sell someone marketable because Inter can’t make the money otherwise right now.
The question is, if Icardi goes – who’s the new striker? Gignac isn’t gonna cut it.
And if Toure arrives – who do we sell of the current midfielders? I’d get rid of Kuzmanovic, Obi, even Hernanes and Guarin – but that still makes little space for Kovacic, and I don’t even want Toure if that means we’re selling Kovacic, or even worse – benching him.
This is gonna be an exciting summer, and it’s a curse to live in exciting times.
How about we take a shot at Matuidi?
Come on toure! Milan is a nice city, you’ll be very happy
I have no doubts bout Toure’s ability, but where will he fits into Inter line? and if he do, that means some players need to give way for him, surely not Medel? or Brozovic, this guy has been a revelation since joining Inter. Kovacic? Guarin? these two are great playing with one another.
Medel. Yes it sucks that he will lose his place, we all like him… but it will make the team a lot more stronger and that is what we need
I disagree. Medel is thriving when Kovacic and Brozovic are playing together like what we saw in match vs Caliagri. He even managed to put in a fantastic assist for Icardi’s goal, because the pressure is off his back and he can play his game, which is to close the game and destroy the opponent gameplay. The problem with Inter is the CB.
Definitely, our midfield seems set for now
The midfield is very unbalanced without Medel, unless we have a backline that can take the pressure of not having a destroyer in midfield. Toure is energetic, but he’s not a destroyer, he’s a box to box midfielder similar to Brozovic (although much better and more complete).
Maybe Mancio plays Toure/Kovacic/Brozovic with Mateo as a deep lying playmaker?
Maybe, but I always thought toure really helps out in defence… did you see how bad Man city were yesterday without him?
Box to box player? Then that would meant Inter will have to sacrifice Medel. Inter cannot make without Brozovic. This Inter’s midfield clearly depends on him. More complete than Brozovic?, i don’t see any reliant comparison between the two. Brozovic is more attacking minded like Stankovic while i think Toure is more like Vieira. So, I would put it this way:
Brozovic-Kovacic-Toure
I had to sacrifice Medel as sub if this move does happens.
Well I said lets sacrifice medel….
all those players you mentioned are not tested in big matches, you have to wait until we participate in cl and play barca in camp-no or bayern in the arena to see if they truely big players or not but toure is a proven player
Not necessarily. The important thing Inter should do now is to keep this team united for many season to come. Let them glue together and now we are starting to see them play good football.
About experience however Inter is in better shape as they start from the lower championship which is EL. Remember how Porto went on to win the CL after winning the EL in the previous years, they did sticking with the same group of players.
But of course this all goes down with how Mancio would decides on match tactics, tactical line ups and of course some luck towards reaching that goal.
Seems I am the only that agrees with u about Medel, I dont want to sacrifice him too so whoever wants to come I’ll deffenetly want to keep him in his place
