The Brazilian midfielder Hernanes who was back as a starter after a time on the bench, spoke to Mediaset Premium after the match and he was one of the best performers of tonight.
“It was a huge joy to be playing a match of this importance. I found my right place directly and that’s not an easy thing to do with just training. I have prepared well and have waited for this occasion. I think that I had to find my space from minute one. I believe that we’re on the right path to become an important team. We made to many wrong decisions in the first half of the season but we can become something big.”

Hernanes was one of the MOST DISAPPOINTING creative force yesterday. Failed to deliver yet again on the big stage, even when Inter had a numerical numbers on the pitch. I don’t know what Mancio see in this player, maybe he is just one of the president favourite player and thus has to play? To be true, Hernanes was invisible and often drift wide last night. This might caused why Shaq had a decent game because Shaq had to run deep to get the ball rolling. Hernanes is a waste of space, could have given the place for Kovacic. He only came up for corners and set pieces. I rank Hernanes 4/10 overall performance.
thought hernanes had a good game yesterday, he showed a lot of skills and successful dribbling
seriously i hardly seen him creating anything dangerous. just a single shot on target and that’s it. dribbling and skills for what if no clear cut chances for Icardi? With his physic at least he should have hold the ball more and have great vision to open up the Celtic defense but instead do the tumble more often than anyone on the field! I still don’t see him bringing any certain dynamic of creativity in this team since arriving from Lazio. I clearly see him more like flop in the end of the season.

I agree. Inter were somewhat rudderless. there is no talisman in this team to bring it forward nor to defend. Lucky we have Medel to marshaled the midfield.
Still sad that Kovacic is benched, but I’d prefer Hernanes over Kuzmanovic on any day.

i rather see Kovacic over Hernanes any day. Hernanes continues to disappoints me.
