I beleive Medel is better than Luis Gustavo. We have a much more creative midfeild, and if they have Schurle, we’ve got Shaqiri! We have a better center striker, and De Bruyne will hopefully get injured by then 😀

You’re right, but Medel is far away from Luis Gustavo, Schurrle and Perisic are great wingers and De Bruyne now shows much more creativity compared to any of our midfielders. That doesn’t mean we can’t beat them and going to the next round, but we’ll have be on 100% in two games, flawless in defense and using every chance we’ve got. Mancini will have to find out right tactic and system against them, choose the righ players (in my opinion Campagnaro, Ranocchia and Palacio are not). Good thing about Wolfsburg is that they play football and give you chance to play and if you know how to do it you’ll have a opportunities.

wolfsburg is a good team and doing well at the moment BUT they are not Bayern or Dortmund! Dost is great at the moment but so is Icardi, Kova, Guarin, Medel, Santon and Carizzo, and playing the first game away from home is great! Plus wolfsburg is fighting for a CL spot and could focus more on the league than this EL game – hopefully!

Their striker Bas Dost scored 12 goals(+1 assist) in last 8 games in all competitions. Not to mention De Bruyne, who is in crazy form right now, and then Perisic, Schurrle, Gustavo, Naldo and Rodriguez, Benaglio who are all in great form too. Odds are against us.
Dost is nothing special at all, but when you have Perisic, De Bruyne and Schurrle behind your back it’s not so hard to scoring. It’ll be very tough game, but will show where we are now and where we have to improve to be competitive against serious european clubs. For me those two games will be real test for Guarin and Medel against Perisic, De Bruyne, Schurrle and Luis Gustavo and did they deserve to stay for next season.
Doesn’t matter if he is good or not, he is scoring goals. It won’t help us that he scored an easy goal, when we concede.
