After the draw for the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League, Javier Zanetti spoke to Radio 24 about Inter’s tie against Wolfsburg:

“I never imagined that I would release a film, but now it is already out.  I cannot wait.  When I arrived at Inter I was the fourth foreigner to arrive.  After Rambert saw me play, he decided to sign me.  On May 4th, at San Siro, there will be many champions, and this will be important because the proceeds will go to charity.  My career? I do not have any regrets.  To spend my whole career wearing Inter’s jersey is something that I never imagined.  I will never stop thanking the fans, who always welcomed me as if I were at home.  The Wolfsburg match?  When you get to this stage, all the teams are strong.  It will not be an easy game , but it will be nice to play the second leg at home.  We tend to suffer too much, but yesterday we proved that we are improving and we are also winning games in the league.   Mancini is doing a good job, and I hope we can continue on the right path.  I do not know if we are going downhill now because the situation is improving.  We are a point away from Europe, which is our goal.  Now in addition to playing well, we are now getting results.  The lads are working hard and are trying to satisfy the fans.  I have told the fans that we will try to build a team that will carry forward Inter’s identity.  We are working on achieving the goals we have set, even though we have been enduring a difficult time.  Mancini’s “pizzini”.  We all laughed.  Icardi is doing very well and he has a great career ahead of him.  He can become a great player.”
