Darmian would be a blessing, him on one side and Santon on the other is decent. Far from world class, but decent, much better than Nagatomo and Campagnaro. And we don’t need Benassi.

They talk highly of benassi in torino, so I think Bennasi + 5-8 MIL should cover it

Damian is a good player, but he’s another one with Santon, D’Ambrosio and Nagatomo righ footed, who we will put to play on the left back. I think we need quality left footed for a left back or send back D’Ambrosio with Benassi rights for Damian.
That’s a good point, but it depends on what role the player has. For example, not both full backs in Chelsea get the same duties; Ivanovic gets go bomb ahead, whereas Azpilicueta dedicates himself to the defensive phase and covers a lot of space. He rarely has the need to cross the ball, which could also be the case with one of our full backs next season if Mancio plans on building the team to be fit for a formation with wingers.
A very good thing about most full backs we have now and Darmian is that they are versatile in the sense that they can play in multiple roles. Santon, Nagatomo and Danilo can all play on both sides, both as full backs and as wing backs (though Nagatomo isn’t any good as a full back). The same goes for Darmian, and I like that.
