Inter are expected to find out what Financial Fair Play sanctions are going to be placed on the club and according to Gazzetta Dello Sport they could hear today.
The club failed to meet the break even parameters imposed by FIFA.
The newspaper says Inter can expect a financial sanction of 6-7M Euros as well as a limit of their European squad from 24 to 21 players.
Alternatively Inter could have to use a bigger proportion of youth academy players in European competition.

uefa is corrupt
sneiderized palacio and vidic then we can get 6 mil from their salary
Please help me understand, how fining the team and reducing the number of players available in Europe is supposed to help a club break even? This whole FFP garbage was introduced to level the playing field, but all it did was make super rich clubs even richer.
Uefa is destroying football. Fuck FFP.
Moggi for FIFA President
…
We heard lots of rumors of the severity of the punishment – this however is a breathe of fresh air… phew
Hopefully my comment doesn’t go ninja and disappear this time…
UEFA logic
How can we can comply the good financial report whilst they ready to give us “financial” sanction
limit the European player is ok, but financial sanction is just meh
that can be considered as penalty for failing to meet the requirements. I don’t know how the current Inter management wants to manage this matter, and seriously Inter is in a BAD state. If Inter fail to win the EL, this matter will get worse. We can expected that some of the stars will have to go. The wait and see policy of the Inter hierarchy is baffling. And now Inter is continued to be link with further reinforcements whilst the surplus still remains at the club until who knows when they get packing! I am afraid ET’s venture with Inter is going to be a big “F”, and together we fans are going to see it becoming.
the point is how they give a club with financial deficit a with a money sanction, while they cannot perform their balance sheet with good management?
and yet we considered below the FFP standard right? so why the financial sanction?
I don’t care how a football club is managed.
how come someone give a financial sanction to the other, while the other lack of cash? only in UEFA
It was a controversy at first intro of FFP brain-child of Sepp Blater after learning many clubs back in the 90s were in danger of bankruptcy when the owners tend to over-purchase on players etc but are struggling in paying the squad that they have. Remember the old Fiorentina that went bankrupt? Anyways, the FFP was also to close up the gap between top leagues in Europe then Serie A and La Liga with EPL etc to create a more “controlled” enviroments with the emerging markets in Asian (coincides with WCKorea-Japan back in 2002?). I think many club president including then-Inter President M.Moratti and other major clubs in Europe (G8?) fought hard regarding this matter and others that were introduced. As long as the club are playing in a league/championships that are bides under FIFA rule, if not they are banned from playing in any FIFA matches be it CL/EL/or even the national league competition.
