Gazzetta dello Sport reports in today’s paper that Inter’s latest signing, Felipe could make his Nerazzurri debut in 10 days time against Cesena.
The Milano-based nespaper writes that “Mancini is focusing on the defense ahead of the match against Napoli. Mancini insisted on a quartet in the back consisting of from the right Santon – Ranocchia – Juan Jesus – D’Ambrosio. The most concrete alternative to that is Campagnaro for D’Ambrosio (with the Argentinian playing at right-back and Santon to the left).”
“The choice to play a 3-man defense is still there where Vidic would go in the middle in order for the other 2 to better shield the wings, Against Cesena however, it’s looking like Mancini will rotate the squad and field Felipe” the Gazzetta reports.
I’m actually excited too see Felipe play…
I guess yeah, majority of people didn’t expect Rolando to be any good last year and in the end he turned out to be one of our best if not the best defender. Maybe Filipe can do the same(though I’m rather sceptical).
