this match brought back a lot of bad memories of mancini first period in inter when he used to love mediocre players in spite of the huge budget he had ,i remember him playing the likes of jeminas and burdiso in the time which he could ask for any player in Europe but he’d kept playing with shit midfield in Europe and we end kicked out by shit teams like villareal ,the opposite was jose that with him it took one season to figure out what the problem and gave his list to moratti and branca and we end triple winner, i brought this up because i wonder why mancini put hernanes out after his good show the last time he play and in the same time keep playing jj and medel every game
ohhhhh . Juan had bad game and now everybody said I hate him , ranno had a good game and all said monster def . stop guys . Juan did bad and i know but every player does at some . he is strong def.
That’s what am saying, that was rano’s utmost best. We’re not even sure when we’ll ever see that again.JJ had an off game and I believe it all stemmed from that silly yellow he picked up early on.He didn’t look his usual self today but it happens.
I think hernanes should start instead of brozovic. He looks like in the good shape and full of confident.
He is actually but it was hard to replace Brozovic after he literally looked like the best most composed player we have alongside guarin and shaqiri to an extent but yeah…it would be a bad move to replace him for hernanes before this match but today brozovic looked quite average as well as the other players before the 70 min mark or so.Maybe hernanes would start vs cesena but if you look at it there isn’t space for all of them to play at once, squad rotation and good subs is what we neeed.I still think Macini is too hesitant to make subs.
In my opinion, not only today. Brozovic wasn’t good enough last few games. I like him, he’s young and talented and he starts surprisingly well in the beginning, but now he’s totally lost.
Yeah you’re right and I saw shaq did not comfort to play behind striker. Maybe after this game mancini will change his tactics to 4231 with palacio, hernanes, shaq and icardi play together.
Great show from Palacio, Good saves and exits from Handa, Nice running from Santon, Hard work goes to Medel, Better confidence and concentration from Rano in 2nd half and finally brilliant cheap penalty from Icardi
Hard useless work from Medel i can say. Probably I’m the only one, but what I’ve seen from Medel is mediocrity, he’s not enough effective as a defensive midfielder. How many attacks he stopped tonight, how many interceptions he made, how many tackles he won?
I really start to hate jj not because of his mediocrity (he is) but because he is a pussy
where was this inter from the beginning of the match
There isn’t one…we always play when we are behind comfortable to knock the ball around and it’s only when we concede we look to attack. If we had kept the tempo of the last half hour throughout the game we would have won quite easily
And in my opinion that’s because of Mancini’s tactic. Playing with the idea not to lose and if happens some miracle to score, that’s welcomed.
Hmmm seems all to similar to Mr.Walter’s tactics to me..the difference is we react with goals. With WM we turned up the tempo after conceding but we didn’t score.
Reactive football yet again. We only play football when something happens we react when we learn to act then and only then we will be able to return where we belong as the powerhouse of european football. Before Palacio’s goal this was one of the most frustrating performances I’ve seen under Mancini.I really didn’t think we deserved anything but well done by the team.Fought till the very end I am proud, mayne there is hope against Wolfsburg after all.
You’re hundred percent right. But most of the fans would be more than happy that we showed some character and avoid losing the game. With a lot of luck and help from Napoli, who stopped playing thinking that they already won. In my opinion the problem is in the mentality of the players and in the coach tactics first playing not to lose and if you’re lucky enough to score somehow, that’s great.
Don’t get me wrong though I am happy we came away with something but I am still not convinced that we’re much different from when Mancini took over.I mean yeah sure the players have more or less improved noticably Guarin,Medel,Icardi and I will even say JJ improved a bit. He’s a bit more dependable though today I still saw glimpses of his bad decision making but it’s all a working progress, but the mentality is still there of waiting on opponents for the first move then we react after which is why we’ve drawn so much recently.or even lose 1-0 when opponents score late and there isn’t enough time to react. It has to change soon or we’ll be staring up the barrel of a gun for EL places next season as well.
I said if Inter is losing with 2 goals difference I will watch Atletico Madrid – Valencia (I’m Atketico’s fan because of ex-Inter’s and Argentina’s Simeone) and I did it but then I saw in Live Score result 2-2. Wow, is it possible. Now I’m regreted. 😀
you should regret… i advice you to watch maurito´s penalty right away 🙂
I’m watching “Domenica Sportiva” in RAI2 stream waiting for report of Napoli – Inter. 😀

Man of the match is Santon. The guy lost some one on one vs mertens, but proved that he is our best lb. During 2-0, he was the one pushing the team offensively. Great match by him. And guarin’s pass to palacio was superb!!!!!!!!!
Really shined offensively today, great to see him become our best fullback, while becoming the full package!
totally agree. Santon and Guarin today both beasts… and i have to say that rano had some good tackles too
Yea, he was great today as well, which is something awkward to say:DDD
when i wrote it i felt ashamed, but after dissing him i had to say that he didnt play so bad today 😀
Guarin was actually quite an average player today.
Not a really good game in my opinion. but still carry on his midfield general role quite good. Our midfield was not performing really well
Our midfield miss someone like hernanes.
Even though icardi didn’t do much, that confident penalty made him my favourite player today
He is just such a player that makes you end up with a smile on your face while saying “You little cheeky motherfucker”. 😀
Now i just said the same thing about you because you read my mind XD
I didn’t think it was an intentional pass though lol
Thank god… Inter showed us something we haven’t seen in a long time, Fighting Spirit, hope they carry it to germany and do something great
hopefully we will not need to go from behind… i would prefer 0:0 or 1:1 draw
If they play like they this from the begining we may have a glimmer of hope
We had such a comeback against Lazio too. If we could only start matches with such spirit and we would win most of the games. Makes me mad.
A draw on their stadium after being 2-0 down? You know what? I WILL TAKE IT!!!!
Anyones heart pounding…
Mine.
Ours.
Better way to express it, yeah!
I think mancini and the team got an epiphany in the final moments… hope they keep at it
Since mancini came inter have been much better at playing from behind.
because we always play from behind..
What he means is inter dont lay down and take it like they did with mazzari
Exactly
And probably what he means is that Mancini always plays not to lose and after we concede, he started thinking about attacking. But we’re not Chievo.
i am not a gay but i love this guy. they boo, they use lasers into the eyes, and still he scores panenkas goal in such important moment like he hasnt got any nerves
One phrase to describe him: Cheeky little bastard. I just hope he doesn’t go on the same path as Balotelli.
me too bro
Cool and collected
YOU SONS OF BITCHES HAVE RESTORED MY FAITH IN HUMANITY
YESSSSSS CHEEKY GOAL!!!
Give it to guaro please
yesssssssssss
Napoli never gets a penalty against and no one scores headers against inter… weird game
Yes
PENALTY!! IF WE DON’T SCORE THIS I AM FUCKING DONE.
Okay that sub took balls
puscas???
Mancini needs to do the subs earlier ffs. We can’t equalize if he won’t send fresh players on the field.
Coward is the only word to describe him
I mean, we don’t have a quality bench lineup but Kovačič and Puscas could easily get in to play.
Rano really is doing well, props to him
It’s sad that our subs are risky while napoli’s are better…
Woops, double post.
