The Italian front pages have begun to stream out and they took time to reflect on Inter’s Europa League match against Wolfsburg.
La Gazetta dello Sport: The Mancinter disaster. Palacio deceives and wastes, the poor Carrizo opens the door for Wolfsburg. Technically unconvincing.
Corriere dello Sport: Higuain King. Inter Not. Palacio-goal, Carrizo poor. Wolfsburg take advantage.
Tuttosport: Palacio illusion, Carrizo disappoints: Inter overturned.

Fuck Tuttoshit in the meanwhile
This was always going to happen. Why is everyone so upset and surprised, have you not watched this team for the past 4 years? It was obvious we will not be in Europe next season for a few weeks now. It was also obvious we will never win Europa League, not with those defenders. If anyone thinks otherwise it doesn’t prove your love for the club, it just proves you’re blinded. This team is mediocre, for us to compete “for the title” next season like Mancini says at least 6-7 new starting XI quality players must arrive (and some more options for the bench), 4 of the new starters must be to fix the defence. I don’t mind Ranocchia staying as an option for the bench next season (but not a starter and not a f*cking captain), Campagnaro must go, so does Vidic, D’Ambrosio, Dodo. Other than that Palacio is a good option for the bench next season too (but not a starter), Kuzmanovic, cash in on Guarin’s good recent form – just sell him please. I am not too sure about Mancio, his record since returing to Inter is poor, but we was given a sh!t team, I hope we will give him time until December this year – he needs the summer mercato to build HIS team. We will have to sell first though…
I’m almost agree with ya but not agree about D’Ambrosio
dambrosio, almost every match on the edge to get another yellow card
Technically inter already got Murillo and I have a feeling were gonna get toulalan Milner and Micah Richards (since they are all free).. So by these signings alone inter might look like this.. Obviously the formation is subject to change
Handanovic
Santon jj Murillo Richards
Medel toulalan
Shaqiri Hernanes Milner
Icardi
Toulalan, Milner and Micah Richards doesn’t showing nothing special, now in their clubs and with thst kind of transfers we will repeat the same as previous seasons. Instead of those three mediocres, better sign one, but who’ll bring real quality and can make the difference.
Agreed but spending on our January transfer window of around 30’mill on brozovic (7mill) shaqiri (15-17 mill) santon (around 5 mill and podolski for 1 mill if Im not mistake.. You have to be realistic on what player we can get.. Especially that inter need to reinforce a lot this summer. And those mediocre players your talking about toulalan Richards and Milner all better than podolski Jonathan and kuz/obi.. Not amazing but better
First we can offload some of unnecessary players like Kuzmanovic, Obi, Nagatomo and gain some money. After that we probably will be forced to sell some of our starters, because lacking of Champions League and even Europa League. And im my opinion that could be Handanovic (cos he was denied to renew), Guarin (who showed some great games, but i still believe that he can’t be consistent and can’t handle when he’s on the pressure) and Ranocchia (who now must be on his prime and he’s still too inconsistent), even Medel wich in my personal opinion is not good enough for top club like Inter. If we will go for a free agents, there’s so much more better options like Konoplyanka, Schar and Gignag for example. Don’t listen Mancini he wants experienced players, because he needs results right now to keep his job. But that’s not in the club interest, because with that kind of players we can’t achieve nothing special and now we have to be patient and build for the future around young players Shaqiri, Kovacic, Juan, Brozovic, Santon. And when it’s obvious that in the near future we will won’t be able to afford top players, we will have to search for young talents like Dybala who we lost, if we wann to be competitive one day again.
You had me going until you mentioned that i shouldnt listen to mancini suggestion that inter need experienced players. If you have too many young player you would not win anything unless there is experienced players to teach the younger ones how to adapt in certain situations within the game. Some examples of the importance of experienced players are:
1-Maintaining a win throughout a match without the need of exerting extra energy.
2- The experience of reading the opponents tactics before it actually happens.
3- To be able to dribble, move forward or move backwards in the right moment and situation.
.. and the list goes on but you see where i am going with this.
Yeah your right mostly…but to say that we can’t win the EL that’s a bit pessimistic assuming your an inter fan as well. When we went to Germany I wasn’t expecting us to go out and win I wanted to see a good performance and atleast keep it down to 2-1 or 1-0 with that being said we started brightly and as the game wore on we faded as in the celtic first game.Difference was that Wolfsburg is no Celtic, they will punish those elementary mistakes the team commits time and time again and that they did When Palacio missed his opportunity I knew we would be punished. That miss might very well cost us the game but the blame shouldn’t go to the players only.Mancini’s decisions was poor from the starting lineup to the poor use of subs and to blame the players is just useless.JJ however was really bad and Vidic, well his name tells the story by itself,Mancini should know that he really isn’t worth changing a system around and featuring him in defence.Vidic isn’t the player he was and to sub the best midfielder for him pretty much signaled the self destruct mode. The team looked headless ..literally as the strikers became so isolated. It’s sad to see that Icardi had to be the one to assist Palacio im the first plsce for our solitary goal. The service must get better. But yeah don’t right us off yet. That’s the beauty of football and we saw it with CFC vs PSG when the odds are stacked against you it’s still possible as long as there is time on the clock and belief of the players…this is the kind of mentality that mancini should implement if we have any hopes of getting past Wolfsburg or even becominh a top European side again.I’ve seen glimspes but Mancini must continute to work, all is not lost.
nice job mancini, really nice job…every fucking match new experiment…you came in germany to defend,to play like pussy…sure carizzo made couple mistakes but why the fuck carizzo defend in every match in europe…and handa wants to play in CL,so let him play in europa legue…when he was in inter before mourinho we have 3 times better team and he did nothing in europe and every scudetto was almost in last match…im so angry at him…his fault and his fault only that we lose like this…vidic/hernaes sub???whole world is laughing at you..and im sorry that we fans have to watch one the same thing game afer game…one good game than 3-4 games absolutly nothing…dont talk we will win scudetto next year…do something this year and be a man a and quit at the end of season if you fail..im so fucking angry..omg
Wolfsburg is a very fast team that likes to press high. Inter did the right thing to try to slow down the tempo and win their backs. Hernanes was out of gas and was not helping Santon defending. He looked good when he had the ball. But how many times did Wolfsburg created attacking chances from inter’s left side? They were passing Santon far too easy, and Hernanes was not helping. Mancini did the substitution and switch to a 5 man defense so that JJ could help Santon and to some degree Vidic could help DAmbrosio because Wolfsburg were killing us from the bands. It didn’t work because of individual errors from a couple of players, but that is another story, that is not Manicini’s fault. Look at yesterdays bench for Inter. Another option would have been to switch to a 4-4-2 with Kuz or Dodo replacing Hernanes… Honestly, I think that could have been worst. But who knows. It is easy to criticize now that the game is over. Le’ts stop trashing Mancini for his decisions, please. I agree that playing Carrizo was very risky, but who knows maybe he was asked to play him or maybe he was trying to show inter management that we need to renew Handanovic or get a good replacement not matter what. Without Carrizo’s errors, and Palacio missing his second chance the game would have ended 2-1 or 2-0 for Inter and everybody would be saying how much of a genius Mancini is…
i didnt expect us to win in germany but why he didndt put kovacic in when hernanes was tired?kova played that position whole last season..i was defending mancini whole time till yesterday…and i wound defend him any more…he got players what he wanted(mazzari didnt got players what he wanted, betitez 2)to play formation what he wants and still nothing..its even worse than last season…mancini need 200-300 mil euros to make something…give me 200 mil and i will create you team that will win scudetto…he got lots of experince and he didnt learn anything form his mistakes…he experiments in every match..you cant experiment in such importaant match…now it will be immposible to pass wolfsburg and go into next round..and what is that means, good bay icardi, goodbay handanovic…good players will go and bad ones will stay…and lets be honest i think that no one has ever said that mancini is a genius manager…before when he was in inter he had 3-4 times better players and no game…in city he had everthing he wanted but no game…good individuals but no team spirit…hes lack of tactital experties and he dont know how to boost team spirit….im supriesd that he didnt say that kovacic is gulty for this defet 2…i maybee dont like mancini,i maybe dont like couple players but i loveee inter whit all my heart…i love croatian national team and inter and no one else…and to love inter si wery hard…thohir bring strama and stankovic back!!!we need young coach whit fresh ideas, who wont be affraid to put young kids in the game and someone who wants to attack not defend…if you attack you have oportuniti to win if you defense you are doomed
And who we will supposed to trashing after another defeat? Why just on halftime Mancini realize that Wolfsburg are strong on the wings, when the whole world knows that very well? If he wants to shut down Wolfsburg play mainly on the left wing, because D’Ambrosio handles decent on the right, he could switch Juan as a left back and substitute Santon with Vidic or Andreolli. Hernanes wasn’t tired at all and you can see it on his face, when he was going out of the pitch. You just can’t substitute your best midfielder in this game and player who can hold and protect the ball very well, only to sit deep back and praying Wolfsburg not to score. We was needed to hold the ball as long as possible and keep it away from our goalkeeper, if we wanted to get something from this game. How do you explain that Mancini’s last tow substitutions was when the game was over? What’s the purpose of substitution D’Ambrosio for Santon in the game against Fiorentina when they were with nine players, we was losing in front of our fans and desperately needed to score, because they are our direct rival for Europa League spots? That shows Mancini’s mindset and i can’t understand why he wouldn’t take the responsibility for our performances, but looking for excuses?
– Doing well in 1st 20 minutes, pretty acceptable performance for whole 1st half.
– Carizo play amazing for 70 minutes than flick 180 degree in seconds.
– After the blunder, players definitely lost their will to win, the concentration was not there anymore, and even worse when wolfsburg’s 3rd goal coming.
– Palacio gave hope also waste big time.
– Prove that 1 single poor pass could lead total disaster.
– The fact that wolfsburg have many weakness
– Basically we have basic foundation to play counter attacking football.
I believe 2-0 in Meazza is acceptable… And play Handanovic this time, no joking around anymore…
the problem is Inter have to score 2 goals or more because they will eventually concede in doing so and hoping to play counter attacking in the return leg is definitely out of the picture, Inter has to attack feverishly because Wolfsburg are the ones that would be happily sitting back and do the counter attacking.
its mission immposible…i dont remeber when we have cleen sheet
