President Erick Thohir had a message for the players before the game against Wolfsburg:
“Inter v Wolfsburg is one of those matches that as a player you get excited to be involved in. I believe the players who take to the field can perform to the best and rise to the challenge. I know how difficult the challenge ahead is, but I also know how dearly you love the colours you wear and just how eager you are to prove it. “The fans will be at San Siro to support you, until the very last second. I’ll be doing the same, along with millions of other fans all over the world. We believe in you! Forza ragazzi! Forza Inter!”
