How does it feel to be in fourth place in the standings?

“I think the team is doing well. We work well and compact as the coach wants. Inter is in trouble, but they have quality and usually score a lot of goals so it was important to get a clean sheet tonight.”

What did your teammates think about your call up to the Italian national team?

“I received compliments today for my call up and I’m very happy. It is a prize for the 4 years that I have grew here at Sampdoria. I would like to thank my teammates and the coaching staff for improving me a lot. Italy have a solid group and I hope to give my contribution to Antonio Conte.”
