After Inter’s 1-0 defeat against Sampdoria, Massimo Moratti spoke to SportMediaset about Inter’s recent fortunes:
“This season things have been going downhill for many people including us [Inter]. We were unlucky yesterday because we played well and definitely deserved more. I am convinced that the club’s leadership and coaching staff will be able to rebuild the team. It is time to improve things game by game because Inter must rebuild the team for the future while focusing on succeeding in the present.”

The biggest challenge will be holding onto our true talent when we are not getting the results (Icardi, Shaqiri, Kovacic, Jesus) and bringing in players who are able to take the team forward but not break the bank.

Rebuilding is true, but we also need to keep players who have big influence and strong character on the team. I always think that one of our biggest mistake was letting go Cambiasso too early. He could be our solution to current lack of leadership in the team as well as our need of balanced defensive midfielder who is good at protecting the defense line, distributing the ball, and helping the attack.
Yes.. cambiasso is a leader.. maybe 1 years contract for cambaiasso..
Great point. I think in the last couple of years the big mistake was offloading Cambiasso while bringing in Vidic who must be on a comparative contract, and selling Coutinho who everyone but Branca knew had so much potential. Especially considering how little we got for him and the number of journeymen players we held on to.

You sure didn’t seem to know about rebuilding moratti..we were at the top and didn’t put anything in place to remain there as the likes of barca rm bayern chelsea did…
