Sampdoria defeated a dominant but impotent and disappointing Inter at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa’s Marassi district. This was Inter’s 9th defeat of the season in the Serie A and the Nerazzurri are now in 10th place in the standings.
Samir Handanovic – 5,5: Back in goal after being rested against Wolfsburg. Gave a solid performance throughout the match. Couldn’t do anything about the goal.
Danilo D’Ambrosio – 4: The statistics don’t lie: made 3 crosses, 0% accuracy. 3 long balls, 0% accuracy. Caused free-kick which led to goal. Awful performance.
Andrea Ranocchia – 5,5: Made some awful passes but played generally ok. Relaxes when played next to Vidic. Made important interceptions & tackles.
Nemanja Vidic – 6: Solid performance. A fatherfigure who spreads stability & calmness to his team-mates. Suspended in next match after being booked.
Juan Jesus – 6: Gave a good performance at left-back. Dispossessed but won ball back immediately. Made several important tackles & interceptions.
Gary Medel -5,5: A typical ‘Pitbul’-performance: puts in a shift of work, wins the ball & plays it on to his team-mates. 1 of few consistent Inter players.
Fredy Guarin -5: Didn’t have the best of games. In fact at times he looked like the old Guarin as he was missing simple passes, blasting shots over etc.
Marcelo Brozovic – 6: It’s quite remarkable how important he’s become to the team since joining in January. Leads the way by showing determination.
Xherdan Shaqiri – 6,5: Looked very energetic & created chances for himself as well as his team-mates. Unlucky to hit the crossbar. Best Inter player.
Lukas Podolski – 4,5: Completely invisible for 87 minutes when he finally was brought off. Unfortunately he’s been a flop since joining from Arsenal.
Mauro Icardi – 5,5: Where was his accuracy? No matter if he was finishing with his head or with his feet he couldn’t seem to hit the target tonight.
Rodrigo Palacio – 5,5: Should have been brought on sooner given his midweek performance against Wolfsburg. Looked lively, energetic & fit.
Gaston Camara – : Came on in the 87th minute, didn’t play long enough to be rated.
Roberto Mancini – 5: Got the team to perform much better than against Wolfsburg but waited far too long to bring fresh players on.
Inter – 5: Another performance where the team has possession but can’t make it pay. Recorded 9th loss of the season in the Serie A. Not good enough.
Paolo Valeri – 4: Booked 6 Inter & 3 Sampdoria players. Very picky & inconsistent which ruined the tempo of the match.

Looks like, no Hernanes, no party!
Why doesn’t he play? Even he isn’t fit enough he has to be in the pitch.
Poor Ranocchia…
Santon’s absense was crucial too…
What the???? It was Icardi who hit the crossbar and not Shaqiri!!
Sometimes these ratings are retarded -last time against wolfsburg they said hernanes was bad…
I wake up at 3 am (my local time), after 1st half i just knew it would happen again and it does. We’re not really going anywhere, i saw the lads already tried hard for 3 points but something like this always happen. If “The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Unlucky, Very Bad Day” cycle is really exist in this world, so we must be standing in the center of it. It’s like betting on the unlikeliest odds and you just win big time, thats what happen to everyone who bet againts Inter (easy money). This team is cursed, unexplained, unlucky, i just can’t tell myself what really happen to Inter. All i know that people always look for scapegoat without really understand the point, we are hyporcite, we flick what we already said game after game…
I think the season is already ended, i look forward for next season..
That’s how I would rate the players, except mancio gets a 4 for his lack of subs
oh boy..
