Mauro-Icardi-Inter

Sportmediaset reports that Mauro Icardi has refused Inter’s latest contract renewal offer. The player and his staff declined Inter’s offer of 2.6 million euro’s a year in wages because they believe a player like him deserves more. Icardi’s agent is asking for at least 3 million euro’s a season and would also want to insert a buy-out clause worth 30-35 million euro’s for the player. In this way, Icardi could leave for a top club that pays the fee for him if Inter won’t be successful in putting a competetive squad together. During the last few days the rumours claimed that Icardi was close to the renewal but now it seems like it will take some more time.
