Inter have been in the race for Paulo Dybala for a couple months now. The Argentine has attracted interest from some of Europe’s top clubs such as Juventus, Arsenal, and Inter. La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that Dybala’s agent, Pierpaolo Triulzi, and Palermo president Maurizio Zamparnini met with Piero Ausilio on Tuesday in Milano. The purpose of the meeting was to review Inter’s offer for the Palermo star. The problem is that Zamparnini is asking for 40 million for Dybala.

I don’t really want him. Especially not for that price (though I think Palermo won’t get anywhere near 40 mil). We could get Pedro for that kind of money (and less at this point), who is 10 times the player of Dybala.
Definitely overpriced and unproven. And would probably mean we have to sell someone like Mauro or Mateo. AND there’s serious competition from Juventus and from the EPL.
It’s simply goes against logic to deal with palermos president, even more so when a premier league team would spend twice what Italian clubs are able to offer in terms of purchasing price and salary.

Pedro apparently is worth 17 mill and jovetic say around 20-25.. Total of the two players is roughly around dybalas current price which is absolutely ridiculous. Although i mentioned in another post Palermo sold pastore for 45 even though zampirini said he won’t sell less than 60-70mill.. With that logic I think he will eventually sell him around 25-30 mill which I still find overpriced.. His worth 15 mill max.
I don’t think that there’s a club, except City and PSG, that will pay 40 million for Dybala, especially when he have only one year of his contract. But i don’t think that Pedro is better than Dybala, even if they not playing on the same position and can’t be compared. If Pedro worth 40 million, then this world must be crazy. Dybala in my opinion is much better option, than again in my opinion “headless chicken” Pedro. You forgotten that Dybala is much younger and have a lot of space for improvement, he’s proven in italian football, his main position is a second striker, but he can play like number nine or even on the wings. Pedro now is on his prime and will only goes down, he’s a winger and i don’t think that he can play successful as a striker. Whatever, that’s doesn’t means nothing, because we can’t afford to sign none of them.
Think there’s no point in discussing this if you think Pedro is a “headless chicken” mate. I, on the other hand, consider him the most underrated player to wear a Barcelona shirt since Pep Guardiola became their coach, and that says a lot.
Also, Dybala is not proven. Also, Pedro’s price isn’t 40 million – it’s rather something like 17-20.
Finally, I know Dybala won’t go for 40, but he’ll go for 25-30 (considering the fact there are a lot of clubs fighting for him).
And we won’t get either of them.
