Corriere dello Sport reports that the problems con the flanks continues for Roberto Mancini, yesterday evening they checked that Davide Santon will miss the game. Now it seems that a 3-4-1-2 formation will be played against Hellas Verona, D’Ambrosio will be on one flank as Nagatomo will have to fight Felipe for the other spot. In the midfield will two out of three play (Guarin,Brozovic,Medel) so one of the can rest to the important match next week. Icardi will return to the pitch and play together with Palacio and Shaqiri up front.

3 man defence? Wow mancin changing his formation…
Mancini should stick with a 4-3-1-2 or change it to a 4-3-3, a 3 man defence is a different system which might confuse the players once again and let inter concede.
We already are conceding and the fact that mancini is actually going into the game with a different formation makes me intrigued
what mancini needs to do is:
1- get the team into the match with the right attitude and motivation
2- choose the right set of players for this match.. And sub players as early as the 50th minute if they are not performing..and not as late as the 89th minute.
changing a whole system affects the style of play and puts inter back to the identity crisis there facing since god knows when. Especially with these set of players who are basically not leaders and fragile mentally.. To Change formations without affecting the mindset, inter would need a team like the one in 2010, where they would do anything to win and never give up attitude throughout 90mins week after week.
