Inter beat Hellas Verona convincingly away at the Stadio MarcAntonio Bentegodi in Verona by 3-0, a result which is reflected in the ratings below.
Samir Handanovic – 8: An absolute phenomenal performance by the Slovenian who looks like he’s leaving in the summer. Saved another penalty. World class.
Danilo D’Ambrosio – 6,5: Helped out really well both offensively & defensively. Attempted 11 crosses & was a constant threat down the right flank.
Andrea Ranocchia – 6: A solid performance from the captain where he won the ball as well as helped out Vidic & both full-backs when needed.
Nemanja Vidic – 6: Good 1st half followed by a less than good 2nd half. Was adjudged to have fouled Greco causing a penalty. Looked clumbsy.
Juan Jesus – 6: Is a bit rash & plays on the edge but always puts in a good shift every time. Is an absolute nightmare for the opposition.
Fredy Guarin – 6: Didn’t have the best of games as his passing was sloppy & at times wreckless but never gave up & worked his way into the match.
Gary Medel – 6,5: Worked his socks off as he always does. Wins the ball & passes it onwards to Hernanes or Guarin quickly to set up counter-attacks.
Marcelo Brozovic – 5,5: Had an awful first half followed by a much better second half. Was shown the yellow card which means that he & Guarin miss the derby.
Hernanes – 6,5: Good performance by The Prophet. Looked comfortable in the trequartista role & involved in most creative things for Inter.
Rodrigo Palacio – 7,5: This is the real Palacio. Clever runs behind Hellas defense together with a great assist for Icardi’s goal topped by great goal of his own.
Mauro Icardi – 7: Only 1 goal behind Tevez as Serie A’s top goalscorer after a great goal. Then turned provider for Palacio’s goal. World class player.
Assane Gnoukori – : Made his Serie A debut when he came on in the 80th minute for Gary Medel. Didn’t play long enough to be graded.
Mateo Kovacic – : Came on in the 80th minute for Rodrigo Palacio. Didn’t play long enough to be able to be graded.
Felipe – : Came on in the 88th minute for Hernanes. Didn’t play long enough to be able to be graded.
Roberto Mancini – 6,5: Got it all spot on today. Looked fired up & barked out orders when Inter looked like they were relaxing in 2nd half.
Inter’s performance – 6,5: Were lucky to be in the lead after an unimpressive first half. In the second half the team turned on the style and won convincingly in the end. Good build up to the derby.
Paolo Tagliavento – 4: Is nicknamed Tagliaventus & for good reason too given this performance. Made absurd calls & disrupted the tempo of the match.

guarin 6 and brozovic only 5,5? okay, i’ve seen enough now
Hopefully this win won’t have a curse like the palermo win
Great match again vs weak team but at least a confidence booster after awful runs of poor results. I personally thought Rano deserved a better 7 as he was definitely a rock at the back. But it was more like Hernanes show the night. A good show by Inter top stars that eventually will leave at the end.
