When will Andrea Ranocchia renew his contract?
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, very soon!. His contract expires in June but already last year there was talk about extend the contract till 2019 however they are close to find an agreement and it’s just a matter of time before he signs.

Great sides always had great defenders and we need to buy new ones and get rid of this lot… Schar, Dragovic and Musscahino are expectional readers of the game n though young have a high iq in defending… I hope Inter understand this. Rano and Juan cant start next season, there not good enough.

Inter defence always make mistake these days, that’s why when they didn’t make mistake, we rate them good. I agree with your saying about these players doesn’t deserve starting in Inter, we all hope so, but Inter condition make Inter need these players. Schar, Dragovic and Muschasio, they very good player, but I believe you and I can’t predict the future. it so easy blaming players who already signed us. I mean when we bought Rano, JJ, Vidic or else, no one gonna believe they will make mistake like amateur

Defence is not only about defenders you know – the entire team has to participate, especially in Serie A. Rano is a late bloomer in my opinion – he only gets better with age. Defenders need experience, smart defenders learn from mistakes. Ranocchia has already signed contract extension and is the new Capitano – Materazzi and Zanetti all agree, so deal with it. He just needs a solid fast partner next to him, but not Juan unfortunately. Murillo is coming in! I like the defenders that you’ve mentionned but we have to spend in other areas, too. If our posession and attackin game is improved, the pressure on defenders is less. Best defence tactic is to attack!
Please watch the last 4 years again and tell me if him ” being a late bloomer” matters at all. Him giving the captaincy was made a mistake but its club politics. He has to go… Simple.. Well never win anything with a starting CB like him and Juan

Rannochia should be a rotation player but certainly not our go to guy in defense and for sure not our captain (he doesn’t even have the charisma for it).

I’m just saying.. If we want to get back to the inter we used to be till a few years ago, it’s not with Rannochia as the leader. That is my opinion. However, I agree he’s been playing good lately
than we need to seel all the playrers,fire all managment and dont fire coach every 6 months…but inter makes same mistakes year after year
He is getting better but I’m still leaning towards Santon as my choice for captain depending on what CB’s we sign.

that make him around 26-27 years old when he got that armband. he also one of the longest serving player at that time for regular starting eleven.
so, he got everything that needed to be captain. experience, seniority, and attitude.

The question is does Rano command the respect of the team ?? We know what happened when he tried to pull Icardi and Freddy away from the fans. I like Santon’s no nonsense approach to the game. Who else would you put. Handa most likely on his way out.

Rano is getting better everyday. Seems like the four man defence is working for him.. him and vidic were solid against milan

Rano has always been good. But the rest of our defence: with nagatomo/dodo/jonathan and JJ was rubbish.
Actually the first half of the season JJ was better than Rano… thats what I saw.. maybe I’m wrong
