After Inter’s match against Roma, match0winner Mauro Icardi spoke to Mediaset Premium:
“We gave everything on the pitch. We managed to do what the coach asked of us. In the first half we pressed high and scored a goal. We played well in the second half by making sacrifices. Inter want to do well, and because of our history, we will definitely try do that until the end of the season. Next season we will fight and try to finish as high as possible. My goal? I try to do my part to help the team, when I score the lads are happy for me.”
Icardi then went on to talk about his awaiting contract renewal:
“It will come shortly if the club and my agent reach an agreement. Have I signed a renewal yet? Not yet, but I will tell you when
I do.”
