Yaya and medel would be great. With toure inter have balance.. but the transfer and his wages very high.
we could just stick with Cambiasso. that’s my opinion on this (potential) transfer
4 years is a bit long for someone who is on the wrong side of 30, but I still think it could be a good deal
He will certainly contribute to our game, but we’ll see if it is profitable for us during all 4 years.
He’ll be a massive leap in quality for us, certainly will be one of the best players in the league and his presence alone will provide a boost the likes of which we haven’t seen since the Mourinho days.
We should be getting someone like Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu… very good player..in midfield and very low salary…
There’s lots of decent players mate, there’s also Allan who is very good; but none of them have Toure’s presence. He’s an authority with all he’s done in his career + he’s still got the quality to be one of the best players in Italy.
Offcourse… Toure is excellent. If we get Allan on the right and Darmian on the left… it will be like having Maicon and Chivu all over again
Our biggest salary is a little over 3 millions. To give 4 years contract to 32 years old player with 4,5 million is a too big risk that we can’t take. I’m hundred percent sure, that after couple of seasons Yaya Toure won’t deserve such a huge salary by our standards.
4years x 4.5 =18mln + 8mln transfer = 26mln without bonuses and after end of his contract he will worth nothing, kondogbia on the other hand is different story , even if he failed we will be able to sell him for same money!!!
As far as I can see in recent run, toure is not the same as years before. He’s not motivated as before and barely move. Hopefully he can find new motivation with inter to get scudetto.
4.5m is a really really big cut to his wages and would be great if he agrees on it. But 4 years contract is too much, he is old and if he flops, we would be in quite the trouble. I would give him a 2 year contract with possible extension.
I guess we’re not in that strong a position to negotiate this; think he’s holding most of the strings here, Yaya.
Wow… toure is really cutting down his wages. Excellent
Toure and Pirlo are like wine, the older they get, the better.
Pirlo yes. He has great technique and was always a slower player. Toure I disagree. He relies on his physical attributes.
Agree, he won’t be getting better and whether we are right to offer him 4 years at that salary is up for discussion.
But he is needed and will probably be a leader with his quality, certainly can be one of the finest players in Italy.

Thats just bad business 4 year .. 2,5 year is good . Yaya is 31
No it isnt.. 8m for him is excellent and hes better than anyone we have now
He means the contract. 4 years is a gamble with a player of his age. If he flops, we will have to pay him for 4 years.
😉
We can sell him.
And who would buy Toure if he flops? Even now, Toure is declining and that is why there aren’t as many clubs after him as there should have been.
Think positive dude, he is a real champion but the thing that annoys me is i prefer not losing medel when he comes, i mean it would be excellent if mancio use them both together
I doubt Medel will leave. And remember Campagnaro? He was one of the best CB in Serie A, and when he came to us, he continued with his form, he was AMAZING. And then he got injured and became useless. And we are paying a price of giving him a long contract. Now, would you want the same with a much higher salary?
