Nine players from the DC United youth academy will be making the trip from Washington to Milan to spend a week with Inter. Their trip will start on 2 May and end on 9 May.
The American club’s youngsters will have the chance to train alongside their Italian peers in the Inter academy, as well as attending the Primavera match against Cesena and Inter’s clash with Chievo this Sunday.
Here is what DC United youth academy director, Nolan Sheldon had this to say ahead of the trip:
“This is an extraordinary opportunity, one that derives from the special partnership we have with Inter.”
“Some of our best youngsters will have the chance to work with top quality players and coaches in a high class professional environment. They’ll also be able to have the unique experience of watching the first team play at San Siro.”
“It represents yet another example of the success being achieved by the partnership between the two clubs, which was launched in 2013.”

Well, they will arrive tomorrow, so i won’t know until then. But you would think that our youngsters should be a lot better, as we have one of the best academies in the world 🙂
