Davide Santon and Hernanes have spoken to the cameras today about the upcoming match against Lazio as well as taking questions about their training methods at Inter.

The two players were guests of SAP, a multinational company that provides software solutions for the business world. SAP are also the main sponsor of the Inter youth academy.

Santon took to the stage first and here is what he had to say:

“First of all I’d like to thank you for the opportunity to spend the day with a company like this.”

“You’ve asked me about training sessions and tempo: Mancini’s training sessions are high tempo, the first 20-30 minutes are spent running, then it’s all ball work, possession and short games. The main difference between Serie A and the Premier League is that here it’s more tactical, whereas English football is more physical.”

“We’ve had a good week, we’ve trained well on the back of a home draw against Chievo which wasn’t great. So we’ll go to Rome to get a result and I’m sure it’ll be a great match given that both us and them are playing for something important. We come into the game on a good run, besides the Chievo result. Sunday’s game is a test we have to come through. Lazio will take the game to us unlike Chievo, who sat deep. It will be a completely different match. Regardless of our opponents we know that our last four matches will be hard but our aim is to collect 12 points.”

Hernanes then entered the stage to give his interview:

“I’d like to join Davide in thanking you all. The differences between Inter and Lazio fans? Here in Milan people are more discreet whereas in Rome you feel the pressure more. Personally though I really enjoyed my time in Rome. As for my diet, I eat protein on a daily basis and carbohydrates in the build up to a match. It’s essential to strike the right balance between the two and the medical staff give us a lot of help and support on that.”
