Milan president Silvio Berlusconi talked about Erick Thohir in an interview to Telenord and said: ‘Thohir doesn’t seem capable of making Inter an important team in Italy and the world’ and this was one of the topics when the Indonesian newspaper Tempo called the Inter president who had the following things to say about Berlusconi:
“There are no problems, in the past they even called me ‘Filippino’, but that’s a closed chapter. I can’t put time on every comment so I look forward. I’m happy with the work I’m doing and I don’t want to talk about the opinions of others.”
In the end Thohir commented the game against Lazio and the Europa LEague:
“We can still reach the European cups seeing the performance against Lazio and the professionalism showed by our players.”

I believe in the project. If thohir did not care about inter, he wouldnt have sacked mazzari! Mancini is yet to have a preseason, where he can work with the players on tactics and scenarios. I think next year inter will compete for for top spots. Given that lazio will surely lose anderson, and roma’s freefall; inter’s competition will be samp, napoli and fiorentina. I cant rule out the roman clubs, but i think lazio will wear itself thin if the play in the chanpions league.
And if he didn’t care about fans’ opinion, he won’t stop guarin transfer to rube and incurred the wrath n ridicule of rube owner, mgmt etc.
but it also true that its still early days.. we will know more of thohir characters’ as time pass by..
So far all other teams presidents talked shit at some point or another but never heard Thohir saying anything about anyone. Thats how we know we have a great team folks.
I don’t care about Berlusconi stupid opinion. I have to say, that at first i didn’t wanted Moratti to sell the club to some rich asian dark subject. But now i think that Thohir is the best thing that could happen to Inter. I believe in his abilities and project and I’m sure that sooner or later Inter will be where belongs!

Berlusconi is talking as if Milan are not in a worse position than Inter… These old Italian owners think they’re being subtle with their racism, but it’s clear as day how they really feel when they make comments like “Filipino” as if they could care less what Asian country he’s from.
