Mancini has a few doubts about how to set his team up against Juventus on Saturday. The coach tried Brozovic instead of the injured Guarin on the midfield. The Croatian teamed up together with Medel and Kovacic and it also seems that Shaqiri will start as trequartista and the last few doubts will be in the defensive line up but it seems as if D’Ambrosio, Vidic, Ranocchia and Juan are going to get a start.

We need to bring it to Juve. They’ll be riding on their CL fumes so we need to hit them with everything we got. Santon needs to be in as he gets involved with the attacks as well as defence. DAmbro has been playing pretty well, He and Nagatomo get into the attack as well. Even though Naga is just getting back i think he played pretty good last game. Rano and Vidic have been playing very good together. Kova and Medel, best of the midfielders we have. While Broz comes in for the injured Guarin which Mancini must be crying over. I’d like to see Gnoukori as he showed the skills last time out. Or maybe even Podolski, it looks like he’s starting to find himself as the last 3 games he scored the game winner and assisted with one. Shaq and Hern is a tough one as Hernanes has been a big threat to the other teams lately but Shaq is also a threat even though he hasn’t played, he gets the tempo of the game to move quickly. Of course we have Icardi and Palacio. I would like to see Bonazzoli play a game as he’s been real good in the Primavera and Italy U19 team.

the last 3 games he showed some improvement. The Goal, the assist. Its def better than what he’s done so far. I didn’t mean that i would start him he’d be a last resort.
I agree on the assist, he has a knack for finding empty holes in defenses but he is not nearly close to the form he had with Arsenal. I honestly expected more from him but he has been such a big flop.

i’m no physician or a fitness coach and i’m sure your not aswell but santon’s last match before he came to inter was in april 5 , that’s 9 months ….. without playing , than he played for 4 months straight in three competition (europa,seria a,cup) maybe it had an effect on him ? anyway from the fully fit “as of now” fullbacks would you rather play naga or juan ?
But come on three weeks are plenty for a player who just needs resting. It isn’t that he is out because of the injury though. Even before the kick of the season they don’t train that long to be fit physically.
And i would rather play Naga even though i’m not a big fan of him. Because with Juan in the game we are not playing with 4-3-1-2 formation we are more playing 3-4-1-2 since Juan doesn’t offer any option in attacking.
P.s. And the idea of a decent of fullback is to be equally good as in defending and attacking.

do you notice that we concede less since jesus played as left back. It’s because we usually have problem with counter attack and jesus has the tactical role to neutralize counter attack cause he’s good in one on one situation. I think mancini didnt have the ball to substitute juan with santon or naga since inter tend to carried away to attack and then screwed up against quick counter attack so he needs at least one fullback to stay in defensive role and let ambro go full ofensive meanwhile medel and guarin covering the space left by ambro.

But that is how we get predictable and we suffer scoring even against nine men -_-. When Juan is playing as a fullback the opponent fullback thinks only about attacking since they don’t need to defend ever from Juan and focus on D’Ambrosio’s flank and block us. I mentioned it somewhere else that the idea of a fullback is to be equally good as he is in defending in attacking also.
And we already have Medel who is shitty at attacking, so with him and Juan we have two players less in attacking. This actually explains really well why we suffer even against 9 men teams cause we actually have 2 players not able of providing any danger to the opponent.
