Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew has attracted interest from many teams across Europe.  Ayew will leave Marseille this summer when his contract with the club expires.  Today, the midfielder spoke to RMC Sport about his future:

“It was a difficult decision to take.  This was mutual decision made with president Labrune.  He wanted me to stay and he did everything to make me happy, but it will definitely be hard to compete with Monaco and PSG next season.  He offered me the same salary, even though the club has been going through financial trouble.  I do not know where I will go.    I like the English and the Italian leagues.  Saturday will be a very sad day for me [Ayew’s last match for Marseille against Bastia.]  I never thought that this day would come.  My family has always supported me, and it was a difficult decision to make.  It will be very sad to say goodbye to the Stade Velodrome.”
