The Corriere dello Sport reports on another contract renewal meeting coming up in the next days between Inter and Icardi’s entourage.
“With the disappearance of Morano, the entourage of the player (with his wife Wanda Nara in the forefront) will not want to keep 100% of his image rights, but will hand over half to the club. They are coming to a deal €3.5 million per season plus a €1 million bonus (net) for 2014-15 that is already agreed upon.”

Icardi, Morata, and Berardi are prob the top 3 best 20-22yo strikers in the world. We would be fools not to give Icardi a higher salary… Icardi plays with a handful of mediocre players and has managed to score 20 goals, in one of the toughest defensive leagues. He will only get better.

In my opinion he is trully talented goal poacher but his attitude in field when against Juve and Lazio was soo pathetic. He is Good but I think he easily satisfied then he too lazy to open up space and lack determination. He is good but I think he will never be Zlatan Class. If we can got some huge cash maybe 30 mil or used as bargain chip to get player like Pedro, dzeko, lukaku then we should take it.

5 mil… yeah right. Thats jube’s offer not ours – you seem to forget that his agent calls the shots and you seem to forget all he’s contributed this season. This is what happened with coutinho, cambiasso, mazzari and now mancio and Icardi. Fans suck
1. First he was ok for contract 3M with his agent!, but now he want 4, because wanda is look like his manager lol
2. At footbal almost nobody is irremediable.

I’m pretty sure they will settle with a 3.5 salary. His agent wanted 100% image rights and him and his wife are settling for 50% hence the increase in salary.
Mazzari’s year had cambiasso, samuel and a very good palacio (when he finished 5th) and most goals came from individual efforts – with mancini we may not get results but we sure as hell are learning how to play as a whole team, so please judge mancio next year (he can really influence player decisions in transfers). One of the few times the fans should have shown their voice was when cambiasso was leaving… but they accepted with a frown (at least mancio knows he needs players with experience and is now convincing aussilio of either toure or motta)
Does anyone have any idea of how much money do image right’s (from Icardi) bring per season? I hope that he/they accept this offer.
image-rigths are almost impossible to predict. it can vary a great deal from year to year. so it will depend on how well he is performing and how popular he is. its more of a right to use him to create awareness for the club to attract supporters or make him sign shirts at the start of the season, etc. you can be as creative as you want here really. the 50 % sets a max limit of hours he can be used of the club.
if i had to make a guess i wouldn’t think that he’s earning that much from commercials or other deals. but, its more of a secondary income and a potential for club and player to earn extra, fronting themselves or the club.
neymar and messi should earn a lot of these rights i.e. from nike deals etc.
take this answer as a guidance rather than a full answer as i really don’t know. but, this is a way i picture it.

Just off the top of my head, he’s not a top 10 striker in Europe, not even close. Maybe he’s top 10, under the age of 25.
He’s young, yes. His conversion ration is not that good, yes. He made awful decisions on the pitch, yes.
But despite all that, he bagged 19 goals. Just look at the bigger picture.
