Mehdi Benatia to Inter is a deal that can be done according to Gazzetta Dello Sport. According to the newspaper the Bayern Munich defender wants to return to Italy, this not only because he felt better there but also because his family preferred Italy over Germany. Benatia is said to have wanted to leave Bayern in January. Inter who has great relations with Bayern(see the Shaqiri deal) believes that the deal can be done and the Gazzetta also reports that the player himself has called some Inter players to ask about the situation at the club.
Many ask with what money Inter would pay Bayern who ask for 22 million euro’s. The Gazzetta reports that the money would come from the sale of Mateo Kovacic. Piero Ausilio met with a delegation from Liverpool yesterday and the brits offered 10 million euro’s from the beginning, but now they have reached 18 illion euro’s. Inter asks for at least 25 million euro’s for Kovacic. Only one thing remains certain and that is that Benatia wants to return to Italy and that he wants to join Inter.

I certainly would sacrifice Kovacic to buy Benatia. Most Inter fans would object to this however I certainly think he is the replacement for Walter Samuel if he wants to come to Inter then let’s hope we can reach an agreement with Bayern Munich and hope Benatia will be wearing a Inter shirt next season.
Just sell the deadwoods, therefore we have some cash to spend!

Stupid rumor, he’s been there just one season, I seriously doubt that he wants to quit after one season. And why the hell would Bayern want to sell him, especially for 10 million less then they payed him..
And I’m pretty sure that we won’t sell Kova, this is not Moratti era anymore, Thohir and his crew seems much smarter when it comes to business. Only thing that worries me is Mancini, you never know what level of stupidity expect from him.
Somehow i do think the same way of RM. But time will tell next season if it was a right move by Inter to re-hired him. For stability yes, but conquering European stage? I don’t think so. Failing to clinch European berth would be a failure. Finger crossed.

Bullshits! First of all, it’ll be good if those talks for sacrificing Kovacic stop. If we have to sacrifice someone, there’s much bigger candidates like Ranocchia, Guarin, Handanovic, Nagatomo, Kuzmanovic, Obi, Dodo, Botta, Taider, even Medel if it’s needed. We won’t achieve anything if we sacrifice Kovacic or Icardi and bring Yaya Toure, Jovetic, Benatia and keeping Nagatomo, Kuzmanovic, Obi, Dodo, etc. Second, i was liked Benatia in Udinese, but after controversial and inconsistent season that Benatia had in Bayern, there’s no way his real value to be 22 million. If Bayern decide to let go Benatia after just one season, this have to be red light for us.
loan him and Cuadrado for 1 year and pay up next summer and we are back in the CL by then for (almost) sure!
