Inter’s Brazilian trequartista Hernanes has been speaking to the press after last night’s 4-3 win against Empoli which brought a disappointing season to an end.

“We want to bounce back next year and be more consistent in our results, especially here at San Siro.”
“I was a bit off form but then I returned to the centre of the team’s play and I’m happy about that. Our league position is not good this year and now on a personal level I have to show heart and grit to help us win as much as possible. I’ll leave off-field matters up to others.”
