Italy U-21 coach Gigi Di Biagio has called up 27 players to his pre tournament squad ahead of this Summer’s Uefa U-21 European Championships.
Di Biagio’s squad includes 6 Nerazzurri youngsters in Francesco Bardi, Matteo Bianchetti, Cristiano Biraghi, Marco Benassi, Lorenzo Crisetig and Samuele Longo.
The squad will meet for a training camp then play in a yet to be arranged friendly before the squad is trimmed to the 23 players that will go to the Czech Republic.

Benassi has seemed to do well at torino. Maybe instead of spending on CM we can sell some of our mids (guaro, obi, khrin, laxalt, botta, ricky, schelloto taïder, etc.)and bring him back as depth and splash the cash elsewhere. BUT DEAR LORD PLEASE DO NOT SELL KOVA

I’ve got the feeling that we should give Bardi a chance. We should all keep an eye on this tournament, and see how our youngster are doing. Perhaps we might save couple bucks by adding some of these to our current squad
