Erick Thohir wants to bring in a world-class player this summer transfer window. One of the players on the list is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the 25 year old striker who went through Milan’s youth system. CalcioMercato reports that Inter have began contacts with Dortmund for Aubameyang. Unfortunately, the gap between supply and demand is high. The Gabon international’s contract expires in 2018, and Dortmund are asking for at least 15 million euros to begin negotiations. Inter are closely monitoring the situation.

15 million is his real price, no way he is worth 40 million like his agents suggest but there is always be stupid clubs who could could pay that price so its very hard to determine a player’s worth, but i wouldn’t spend more than 15 million on him
I remember when he was about to leave Saint Etienne I was wishing that we would make a move as he was a young affordable talent that I saw progress a lot over the two previous years but we didn’t even make a move. Now that he’s price has gone way up (more than the 15 millions they talk about I think) we are interested.. What a waste of timing.
Today instead of him, I hope we know who Paul-Georges Ntep is and we are following him. He’s an Aubameyang 2.0 with a lot more potential I believe and he is a younger. Here in France he’s become almost a star after just one and a half year with the pro. And mark my words, this kid is gonna be big ! Fast, strong, and so much confidence.. Btw he just earned his first call up with Les Bleus.

Agree. We have to keep Kovacic and develop him as a new Pirlo or new Xavi. My worry is that Thohir, Ausilio and Mancini use Kova as an upfront fund raiser. I have no doubt that Kovacic can become a great midfielder or deep-lying playmaker like Pirlo/Xavi/Modric. Instead, we should sell Handanovic to get cash because we have Francesco Bardi and also we can sign Mattia Perin.

Remember Moratti era when we spending shit loads of money and what we achieved before Calciopoli? The big difference between Manchester United and Inter is that they have probably three times bigger revenue, they playing in biggest league in the world, every home game in front of full stadium 75 thousands and they can afford to spend that way. If we want stable results and performance in long term and someday to be competitive to clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern, PSG, etc. we have to be patient and building around young talents like Kovacic, Icardi, Santon, Shaqiri, Juan, Brozovic.
No one said that we could compete with Utd in spending power (spending 150 mil punds is a totally unrealistic) but my point is, that in order to make money we need to spend money!

in a perfect dream world I would do the same, but no one seems interested in these mentioned players – not even Guarin who has a quite high salury, so therefor a 30mil sale of ONE player could make the way for a couple of really strong players insted. We all want INTER back to the top but do you think we can make it with players like Guarin, Kuz and Juan wasting our starting spots, chances, wages and transfer funds!? We should send a strong signal to everyone and start by selling them. Kovacic can be sold anytime – even in the last week of mercato, no rush for that. I think we could gain more next summer, after 1 more season in Serie A. Not even juBentus are rushing to sell Pogba – they set a price and are patiently waiting for it to happen. Man Utd spend money we don’t have. If you remember back in some time, recent time before the treble players like Guarin, Andreoli, Hernanes etc we pay them and nobody nothing. Now we make too much drama of them. Now you will let go Kova that he had a bad season? Well fuck it. He is 20 year old. And if you do who would you buy? I mean if we could buy Dybala and sell Kova well then ok somehow we putting a balance.
The whole team sucks with expectation from some. Don’t be too hard on Kova because we will regret it, and the money we would get now are peanuts.
we have 3 players we can get good money from; Icardi, Handa and Kova. The 2 first have been preforming great in there 2 years at the club but Kova is playing great one day and the 3 next games his a shadow running around, and therefore he really is the only one of the 3 that we could do without!
I would cash in on him (but only for big money like 30mil Euro) and go all in for Kondogbia who is one year older and therefore fits in with the “buy-youngsters policy” we also want at the club, plus a great regista like Motta or even Melo who has done well in all clubs he has played at… I don´t want Inter to buy talents and wait 3-4 years for them to bring us back to the top, I want proven players who can bring us back ASAP!!!

I think this is the type of player we’ve been lookin for. Speed, pace, dribbler, and calm. Versatile player in both wings, supporting striker and also abe a striker. It would be steal if we got him, but i think borrusia will have hard thought to let him go since he had a good season pairing with reus. But with klopp go, i hope we had chance to sign him. 15 million will be a bonus for us if they agree, i think value between 18-20 million is a fair amount for players with quality like him. I really hope its gonna happen.
