As we wrote earlier today Samir Handanovic is close to renewing his contract until 2019. The Slovenian is expected to make 2.7 million euro’s with bonuses that will be added if Inter wins titles or reach the Champions League. According to Corriere dello sport, Inter wants to have the renewal done before the team heads to Brunico for the pre-season camp.
The right moment for the renewal could come after the national team break. At the moment Handanovic is busy with his national team and will play against England on the 14th of June in an important match for the European Qualifiers. After that game, the conversations with Handanovic agent will be intensified with the target to find an agreement before the end of the month.
Corriere dello sport also reports that the reason for the renewal are many. Handanovic was seen as Inter as a player that they could sacrifice to make money and Handanovic himself was willing to leave to play the Champions League. Though since neither Handanovic got a good offer or Inter found a good substitute, both parties have met in the renewal.

good news all round. if we were able to replace him with Romero i’d sell him to a ucl club abroad in a heartbeat. but that isn’t possible clear;y so i’m glad he’s staying
Awesome! Now either sell/release these players to help fund money
Rano, Naga, Campa, Jonathan, Kuz, Botta, Obi, Juan. Andreolli, Dodo, Vidic, Guarin,
i will keep juan and vidic
