Swiss national team coach Vladimir Petkovic has been speaking about the prospects of Inter playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri.
Here are the words of the ex Lazio coach:

Makes sense that inter played some players to market them…but it mostly came down to physical problems
Actually i think a lot of it came down to us having to pay extra if he reached X number of appearances. Thats just speculation though.
i really really doubt that. i mean he is a professional, he’d been training with Bayern during the Bundesliga-break aswell, yet mancini talked about physical problems – like he’s been sitting in front of the TV eating Christmas sweets
