Gianluca Di Marzio has been speaking on Sky Sports ‘Football – Original’ programme about Inter’s mercato and in particular a new name linked to the Nerazzurri’s defence.
“Inter are moving to try and bring in Antonio Rudiger, a 22 year old German international who plays in central defence and when needed can also play as a full back.”
“Inter have been informed about the Stuttgart defender and are trying to sign him.”

Seems like a good signing for the future. But I really hope Inter (Thohir) will buy some real worldclass players too. Jackson Martinez would’ve been a great signing, but he’s going to AC Milan instead..

Sealing the deal with tied hands is the issue. If it is really true that no buying before selling is the rule then once again probably not gonna even make EL. The teams above this year are all getting stronger and Milan is not waiting. If that happens it is time for a bye-bye Thohir parade. Maybe we can crowd source enough funds to buy Inter?

I remember some time back when I first saw him in a Germany friendly and low(world Cup wining manger) was full of praise about him, now I try to watch games of as much as I can. It’s very rare that a player of his size is as mobile as him very quick and good heading that’s where the Boateng comparisons come from . It would be a great deal.

Vidic has plenty of experience. As long as Rudiger has a brain on his head he is better than 75% of our current backline
