The next 20 days could be decisive for Roberto Mancini’s Inter as the coach has set 3 July as a deadline for having a full team.

As written by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has so far probed more than 50 names, a sign that the ideas are there but missing is always the final agreement.

Tomorrow, Monday, there may be a final answer on Thiago Motta. The Italian international is enticed by Inter’s project and would willingly return to Serie A but Inter are waiting for the response of PSG on a proposed renewal of the midfielder.

One alternative is Felipe Melo who is ready to say yes to Mancini and has even been house hunting in Milan.

Stephane M’Bia has not been given up on but for now it’s just outstanding while Milan are ahead in a move for Geoffrey Kondogbia.

Giannelli Imbula is attracted by Inter, who offered 15M Euro before Marseille requested 25M Euro. Valencia were interested in the midfielder but have bought Rodrigo Caio from Sao Paulo who plays in the same position.

Yaya Toure could return as a possible target if Manchester City go ahead with plans to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus.

Wednesday 17 June will be a day for Inter fans to circle on the calendar as UEFA will decide on Sampdoria’s participation in next season’s Europa League. If Inter do get a place in Europe at Sampdoria’s expense then the appeal and strategies of Inter could change.

For the defence the names are Martin Montoya and Antonio Rudiger as alternatives to Mehdi Benatia and Joao Miranda while in the forward positions the names are always the same in Juan Cuadrado, Javier Hernandez and Eder.
