It was well known that Liverpool had scouts watching Mateo Kovacic during his Croatian national team’s clash with Italy.
However, Croatian daily Jutarnji claims something few would have guessed after the midfielder’s words to Sky on Thursday. A renewed offer being in place from Liverpool for Mancini’s no. 10.
They report a fee of €22.6 million being discussed overnight with an additional €2 million in bonuses in place as well.
Everyone awaits further confirmation on the development. What is certain is that Liverpool are not to be easily denied.

Fuck Mancini and Thorir is this happens…We buy crap/mediocre players and are forced to sell our best players. Sounds like we have turned into a midtable team. Well to be honest I can’t say I mind inter selling kovacic, but with a massive profit like 40 mill at the very least. Liverpool didn’t treat inter right when they wanted Lucas Leiva and surely did not give us any favours so why should inter give them any, specially that inter gave coutinho for a steal.. Well first of all about the price I agree with you. If we should take like 35-40 mil then ok. That will made up for that emotional burst.
