Marseille midfielder Gianelli Imbula’s future seems to be between Inter and Valencia. The Spanish side seemed set to complete a deal last week, but they just recently signed Brazilian midfielder Rodrigo Ciao. The former Sao Paolo player was brought in for 12 million euros, and Valencia paper Superdeporte reports that the Spanish side are losing the race. Valencia will likely lack the financial capability to sign Imbula, and the player could decide to veto a move since Los Che have put faith in another player first.

None of all this issues that at least makes me smile…
I really don’t understand why people got hyped with profile like him, it’s been 4 years now we always related to anonymous players where clubs like palermo, sassuolo, fiorentina, and lazio got true gem…
Inter were always having good list of transfer tagret but also mostly fail when it comes to decided the names on final decision..
Inter finds them but fail to actually sign them. Like Bonaventura. Thohir has applied a business mentality to a product that needs a bit more finesse. You can’t always get the best possible deal, especially when your league and cup position is what Inter’s is. Thohir must realize his number 1 sponsor Pirelli is making noise. He needs to do something quickly.
personally, I do hope we got other sponsorship who willing to contribute more than pirelli.
The worse we do, the lower the attendance, the longer out of Europe the less anyone wants to sponsor. It is bettert to perform better and find a better sponsor than let your current one leave because you are failing. Only a successful team can pick and choose their sponsors
That’s the plan! Since there’s one year left of Pirelli contract. I already make an opinion on this on the thread about sponsorship couple weeks ago.
Yes, u are right. I came twice to Milan, and to be honest the attendance is pretty low. The stadium looks like empty. Only at the derby, the stadium is full of the fans. It seems related to the Italy economic performance. Pretty sad though..
… cause the target like him is the most realistic for Inter right now.
i’m not sure if Imbula is realistic at all. Marseille wants something in the 20m region for him
i mean compare to Yaya and Kondogbia.
We have got TRUE GEMs in the past 3 years as well, Icardi and Kova. They are young, I believe most of our past coach want to bring in some experienced players to play with them. Same with Mancini. But we are broke, matured player for cheap are always turned out to be a joke.
Weird… we’re actually winning in a transfer….
As Inter fan, i feel very stupid everytime i read Inter’s mercato issues… Sometimes i think we’re some bologna or chievo based on our transfer target…
None of those names reflected of a club who already won 3CL..
Bologna and Chievo are not bring Shaqiri or Hernanes.
Hmmm… Based on your comment i assume you’re the opposite of my idea or maybe you don’t get my message..
Ok Inter sign few good names in recent years, but you know we also buy many junk.
Now, i will give you undenieable example so you can once again reflect to your comment and tell me your comment was appropriate or not…
Since 2011-2015 Inter buy/loan this names:
Zarate, palombo, jonathan, pereira, schelotto, silvestre, gargano, kuzmanovic, rocchi, taider, belfodil, laxalt, mudingayi, campagnaro, andreolli, olsen, dodo, m’villa, many more. Most of our transfer was loan/buy and promote our primavera (around 30-50 players in and out, mostly anonymous). I can see players who have Impact since 2011-now after their arrival were very few…
So… Here’s the conclusion…
IF… we make calculation good/bad signing (good signing is: if the players have huge impact to performance of the team or at least his departure give us a lot of money), maybe we just have around 5-10% good signing from all transfer deal since 2011…
Now tell me… Is this all looks like Inter or some Bologna or chievo or anything par to those club…???
I will say my comment was appropriate, cause I will never EVER compare Inter with Chievo or Bologna. I think you miss the context. The treble in 2010 is a huge success but also it open the ugly truth that Inter have a huge debt to be at their peak in 2010. Since then, we have to sell bit by bit our stars before no one left this seasons (the treble members). The player that you mentioned above is the proof that Inter have a finance difficulties. The process to rebuild inter from inside (management) has been take since Thohir bought the club. It takes time.. But in the other hand, we manage to bought promising player that the value has been increase right now, such as juan jesus, icardi, and kovacic. Even in this difficult situation, Ausilio can bring Shaqiri to Inter.
So listen, its your right to say Inter is like bologna, chievo, or anything par to those club. For me INTER IS INTER. I will never EVER compare my beloved club to those club. Its a honor to be an interista. I’m talking about pride here. period. 🙂
It’s clear now that you miss my message.. I didn’t say whole Inter like those team, i suggest you to understand every words i said before making your own conclusion.
oh really? my bad.
Yeah sure mate..
Simply cant compare Inter with other team in every aspects..
Decent move. No Kondogbia but quite good. A bit like Guarin but more consistent (at least in his current league). Perisic also a good choice. Seem reasonable as well. I think going all in for Darmian would be the right gift from Thohir. Then pick up Pato and Hernandez and only a good CB left to find Should not be difficult too make it to EL and plan CL for year after next.
Hand- Santon, Murillo, Vidic, Darmian, Mateo, Imbula, Medel, Shaqiri, Maurito, Pato
Could surprise depending on how the defense gels.
Broz, Hernanes, Perisic, Dambrosio, Hernandez and Palacio on the bench. Plus some other defenders tbd
Isn’t Imbula a very similair player to kondog?
They are both capable box to box with a defensive slant and tough to knock off the ball.
Hard to say long term but they also seem to have heads on their shoulders. You know – the thing missing from Guaro.
I would say they are a different type of player to guaro, who has that South American flair which allows him to attack and create more chances, so you wouldn’t rely on him to defend as much as an imbula. Could be awesome with imbula, kovacic and fredy in the midfield 3 as long as those last two maintain consistency.
Agree. On his day, Fredy is great and different. It just isn’t often enough. And at 28, I would rather he go than Mateo. And I could not consider to remove Medel from midfield until the defense is fixed. That frees up a lot of options of formation.
Half agree with you there, I just think fredy also provides much much needed leadership on the field, there is nobody else who has it (sit down frog) so he should stay, we need all the leaders we can get atm. however he does need to perform much more consistently…sky sports just tweeted a deal has been reached for kova 🙁
Sell guaro, get motta – captain problem solved!
GDS has it too, not just a TS rumour then. I think it will be open fan revolt. And the fact that same team as Coutinho makes us look even more stupid.
Guaro is not bad at all this season. He is quite good, much better than last season IMO. He made quite a lot impressive direct passes this season, good number of assist and goals. He has been improved, less one on one this season.
Do you think this is a move already…??
I don’t like your squad. Pato and Hernandez are both center forwards, we would only need one of them. And another winger instead. Also, Vidic should not be a starter. Put Miranda or Rudiger there. Finally, Perisic is not coming to be a bench player.
