According to FcInterNews.it, the contract extension of Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is pretty much done. The Slovenian, 30, has made 125 appearances for Inter from 2012 to the present and he is expected to sign up to the new project of Roberto Mancini.

Depending on his commitments with the Slovenian national team the former Udinese keeper will sign an extension until June 2018 with an option until 2019, in the next couple of weeks.

The player’s salary will increase from the current 2M Euro up to 2.7M Euro with individual and team bonuses leading to an eventual salary of 3M Euro total net.

Also there are no clauses in favour of an eventual departure in the case of offers from clubs playing in the Champions League.
