Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia has been heavily linked with Inter and Milan in recent days.  It was believed that the Rossoneri were in the lead to sign the Frenchman through the help of Doyen, but La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports otherwise.  The paper reports that Inter have offered 27 million euros for Kondogbia.  This is the highest bid Monaco have received from any Italian club.  Adriano Galliani is currently studying the situation, and may be looking for alternatives.  One possibility is that Milan will use technical counterparts.  The main obstacle that Inter face is the player’s high salary.
