In recent weeks Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger has been linked with a move to Inter to reinforce the defence.

According to German newspaper the ‘Stuttgarter Zeitung’, many teams are interested in the player but in pole position is Wolfsburg.

The player has also shown an interest in staying in the Bundesliga for economic reasons.

The newspaper also reveals that Wolfsburg have tabled an offer of 10M Euro for the German defender and it is thought that the ability to play in the Champions League sees Wolfsburg take the lead over Inter for the 22 year old’s signature.
