Atlético Madrid’s Miranda will soon become an Inter player, but it seems like the player will arrive on different conditions than first reported. The player will leave on a two year loan costing 3 million euro’s and will then be bought for 12.5 million euro’s in 2016. Seeing how Miranda’s contract was expiring in June 2016, a loan wouldn’t make no sense. It seems like Atlético found a solution to this by renewing the players contract to help Inter. This is what Gianluca di Marzio writes on the matter:
“It seems like the player has renewed his contract with Atlético to 2018, this has given Inter the possibility to get Miranda on a two year loan for three million euro’s. The rest of the cost will be payed in the coming years, a formal solution that has helped Inter.”

Author’s comment: This is great work by Inter and Ausilio. It would permit Inter to get a great player this season and paying for him the next which would also be positive out of the financial balance perspective.

simeone must be the new coach of inter
Since when contract extension helping transfer out? I think we got owned again this time, like Bayu said below his contract expire next year which mean we can get for free but we insist to pay 12.5 million Euro for 31 yo defender. The player quality is no question but in seems management are going Impulse Buying mode once again.
Even I had to admit i’m agree with Mancini to get mature player but this transfer definitely doesn’t reflect the president vision statement which will left more question mark to every Interisti around the world.
How could you be so sure that we would get him easily for free at 2016? Why would we be so sure that Rano and JJ would bring us back to CL stage after their horrible performances against Empoli? Miranda is one of top defenders today, a starter at Brazil national team and he pushed David Luiz (50 million pounds) out of starting line up. If we waited 2016, i’m quite sure European powerhouses with CL and big money would hunt for his signature. We cannot compete against them now. That’s why we have to find another way to get his signature earlier. His transfer along with Kondogbia’s, showed our president and Inter’s ambitions to get back into our proper place. We’re sick watching Jube up there. We’re sick watching clowns as our defenders.
I’m not, how can we be sure he will guarantee us CL qualification? or he as starter since he is newcomer to serie A, Look what happen to Vidic, even come as free, the pressure hit him hard. Miranda is quality player obviously, he is a good addition imo but i’m not questioning the players but quality of our current transfer strategy, lots of future payable transfer (it looks like new crack to the FFP) but this can potentially hit us back hard, high transfer fee obligation, high contract even if their performance drop and also yearly amortization from player value to those 30s player know to fall too quickly. We got more buying power now to show ambition at least but last year Ausilio did won the mercato awards, with low amount of funds, even we all know it doesn’t come out like we wanted. I agree we need to back to the top soon, hopefully he can answer his high transfer value with his consistent performance.
No one can guarantee whether a new player will meet the expectation or become a flop. We only need to believe on them and Inter project. I trust Ausilio, Fassone and Thohir this time. Enough is enough with all mediocre players policy started by Branca few years ago. I do believe that the stakes are too high with Rano and JJ as our main defenders. We would miss CL for another year if we kept them. Last game, Empoli exploited our catastrophic defense conspicuously.
Missing out another CL stage could trigger worse financial situation in the following year. That’s why, we have to invest big this year not only for showing our bold ambitions to bring Inter back to the glory but also building a better team. And we started very well by improving the defense. I always believe that every grande Inter filled by great and mature defenders, not some kind of inconsistent players like Rano and JJ. In my opinion, missing Europa League can be considered as an advantage thus Inter can rebuild entire squad without worrying about FFP and Platini’s shits. Let’s just pray and cross our fingers that this strategy will return our Grande Inter soon.
So we loan Miranda 30 yo for 3 mil and than we buy him 2016 (31 yo) for 12,5 mil? Why we must buy if we can get him free in 2016?
Because if we waited his contract expired, many powerhouses with CL would snap him for free and outbid our offer easily. Miranda is a solid defender no doubt about that. Moreover, we really need Miranda this year to get into CL as soon as possible. To be honest, Rano and JJ cannot defend their shits at all. We will not win anything with them in the backline.
Yeah Mate, hope that price pay off with good performance.. Keep Optimistic..
Hmm.. interesting
Another Ausilio’s magic.. XD
all hail ausilio the transfer god
We’ve got a lot of big payments coming up over the next few years… Delaying the costs isn’t a complete solution. Are we paying the fees to finalise any loans this summer?—Shaq?
Actually FFP is basically to do with cash flow. Don’t spend more than you bring in over a certain time period, So spreading the costs like this is ensuring we don’t go over that limit. It’s bending the rules, very smart!
lots of payments in the future. we really need the money that comes with CL or else we’re gonna be fucked.
Thank you atleti and simeone
Good job management!
we already have future pay of shaq, future pay of brozo, future pay of dodo, future pay of miranda ….who is next?
Yeah, let’s sign bosman players. Worked out for Milan. Trust in our men in suits, they know better than anyone what we can afford. Sit back and enjoy all the quality players we are signing instead of another season were we are dependent on Kuz and Rano.
where did you see i am saying i dont trust ‘out men in suit’…dont search for conflict and easy upvotes where there are not!!!
Not searching for a conflict, upvotes or claiming you don’t trust them. You just seem critical to our way to get around FFP. It’s either that way or Kuz, Rano and more bosmans.
This gives me hope for kova! Fine work from management
Thank you Simeone!
Outstanding work!!!!!
Really goood job so far
