Inter are now out of the running for Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula and the player expects Valencia to bid according to reports from Spain.
Valencian newspaper ‘Sportdeporte’ has revealed that the player is hopeful of Valencia making a bid in the coming hours although the situation is made difficult by Valencia’s lack of funds after signing Rodrigo Caio.
The leadership of Valencia, convinced of the quality of the player will fight to the end to get the right offer, perhaps counting on the fact that Marseille are in need of funds by 30 June to cover their deficit.

Di Marzio did say yesterday that Inter are still trying to get Marseille to accept a loan + buy. It doesn’t seem possible considering that Marseille need the money, but if they get no other offers it’s not impossible either – let’s see how it goes.

if we can only have 1 i’d rather we have Kondogbia than Imbula. if the price of Imbula is selling Kovacic, ergo not buying Imbula means we keep Kovacic I’d rather we focus on the other positions now and keep Kova. Focus on developing Brozovic/Gnoukouri for the no 8 position instead of buying in another

Kovacic is one of the players modeling our new kit, so it would be kinda weird to sell him after only one game in it, unfortunately Guarin is also one of the players modeling it, and Ranocchia.
Very bad news, i dont get why people think buying Imbula means automatically selling Kovwcic, thats utter nonsenses

Your mistaken. First of all they are different, so it doesnt effect kovacic and it doesnt mean nesscarliy that he would be sold. On a techincal level he is better but Imbula is better in all other catergoies and even better than Kondo in my opinion. Trust me, i watch Ligue Un and this kid is the best midfielder after Verratti. Its a shame we wont get him, and ppl are obessed with the idea of mateo being sold if we got Imbula. First of all, there was no liverpool bid at all according to Di Marzio, second of all Everyone wants Kova to stay.
Well, I prefer Brozovic than Imbula, mate.. Our 3 midfield are Kondo, Brozo n Kova.. It’s a complete dish.. With Medel, Melo (to replace Guarin) n Hernanes for the back up members.. Can’t wait for the next season.. 🙂

I am glad that Inter pretty much fixed their entire defensive line this early in the mercato. Now the defence and defensive midfielders have plenty of time to get accustomed to each other and the tactics. Most certainly this was a planned approach by Mancini and entourage. Now after a wingback, they can in peace look to get a striker/winger, which in my mind is much less important to get early in the mercato due to the less tactical nature of said position. Don’t get me wrong though, striker/winger is of course also tactical, but just a lower emphasis on tactics and a stronger one on individual skills.
Mancini wants kova to stay, but if right offer came, it will be a hard time for us 🙁
If that means Kovacic will stay i can live with it
I think that now that CB(Miranda, Murillo) and CDM(Kondogbia) positions are reinforced, we should focus on a fullback and a winger/attacker, depending on the formation.

I think after zukanovic’s arrival we can expect an experienced mid (motta or melo) and 2 attackers.

Several articles implied that it’s a done deal but nothing official. He’s very cheap anyway.
