After spending a large portion of his career at Inter, Paolo Orlandoni wanted to bid farewell to the club’s supporters, as he embarks on a new chapter as goalkeeper coach at Fenerbahçe. Before departing for Turkey, he recorded a special message via Inter Channel.
“I’ll take a few days holiday, then I’ll head to Turkey, I will become the new goalkeeping coach at Fenerbahçe,” revealed Orlandoni. “I’ve spent 10 wonderful years at Inter, first as a player, then as a coach. I leave with a heavy heart but this was a decision I had to make. It’s a great opportunity and that’s why I have to thank Inter. It was an ambition of mine to work with the first team. The Nerazzurri colours will always have a place in my heart. I wanted to say goodbye to everyone. I’m leaving but I’ll never forget the club.”
