Our partners at FcInterNews.it have been reporting that Inter have been working for days on a possible transfer for Davide Santon to Watford but now it seems the move will not go through.
Further to public statements made on Facebook by the player claiming to not want to leave and to get better at Inter, Santon, has expressed the same opinion to the leadership of the club.
This stance has pushed Inter to change strategy and try to make money with other outbound transfers.
Indeed, this was the precise reason that prompted Inter to propose a move in the first place but they thought wrong and the full back who grew up at Inter has no intention of leaving.

well theres only one to blame and that would be our stupid management. it’s surprising to me that they still haven’t learned from the past. six months ago they’re desperate to sign santon back. he showed us that he’s a descent player and still has a lot of potential, yet all of a sudden they want to sell him to a whack ass club like watford? like wtf?? the fact that he still shows respect to inter after this disrespectful treatment tells a lot about how much he has grown. santon must stay.

I don’t know about you guys but this is not the way you treat your own junior products. Especially him who has what it takes to play in serie a.
First you let him make his debut and he shows a lot of promise. After a while you sell him without any kind of good reason. Then after few up and down years you take him back and he actually proves to be a solid reinforcement. He plays well in every game and suddenly he is your best full-back. And now it seems like we only did this to sell him AGAIN!!!???

Yees! Thank you Santon, true interista. He was our best fullback by far this season even though he only came in january. I dont get why he didnt get any playing time at the end of the season, though, we played JuJe at the left back position even though we had Santon.

Just wondering, what do you Inter fans think of Franco Vazquez? He seems like a really underrated and skillful playmaker, and I could imagine him at Inter. But I know you guys are adamant that Kovacic stays. So could they work in the same team, or would you want him at all?

Well with the recent situation and dont see him fit at Inter. We just bought Kondogbia and really soon Imbula will as well be interista and we have kovacic; shaqiri medel so i dont think that we need someone such as Vazquez even tho he is a skilled.
I would love to see him playing for us, very good player indeed. I just don’t see him getting any playing time if he was to come to us. By the way nice to know that other than Inter fans visit this site!
Vazquez is very underrated IMO -him coming to inter (which is impossible) would mean Hernanes’s place will be taken
