Inter are not the only club interested in Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez as was confirmed by the player’s agent Manuel Garcia Quillon when explaining the situation around his client’s future in an interview for calciomercato.com.

Considering that the word on the street right now is that Simeone doesn’t really want to let go of Suarez, I’m guessing a good way to make them do it would be to offer them Shaqiri. Mancini seems hell bent on selling him and has reportedly been trying to convince him to leave – so it might as well be to Atletico, who are more difficult to turn down than Stoke.
That way we’d get Suarez (midfield would be complete along with Kovacic, Kondogbia, Medel, Hernanes and Brozovic – hopefully we’ll manage to sell Guarin before September); Shaqiri would be “liberated” (as he seems to be unwanted) to a club that fits his name; we’d get cash (with Suarez) that we could use to complete our offer for Perisic and then get Salah on a loan + buy formula from Chelsea, so that way the attack would be complete as well (at least in the starting lineup – Perisic/Icardi/Salah).
Im not convinced about suarez. he has a little hype now because he play for atletico. in reality he is shit. same like melo. we should search alternatives!!!
I agree he’s nothing special, but depending on the price he could be very good to rotate with Medel. Perhaps we could look for another solution next season, one that would really add quality.
