Mario Suarez is still an objective for Inter’s midfield, even if the priorities are laying on other places and that the cost today is too high. But It’s clear that his intention is to change environment and he has most likely said this to the Sport Director of Atletico Madrid, José Luis Perez Caminero when the had a long meeting where they talked about the future of Mario, at least according to reports from El Mundo Deportivo.

seems like m.suarez will replace medel. not bad in my view. medel seems to lack the right passing range and important hight for a central dm
Well I dont know enough about Suarez to judge him, but Id rather have Medel by the way he played for us. He also had a 91.8% pass completion percentage and know he passed back a lot but for all the passes he sent backwards he sent plenty forwards too so I dont agree with your first point unless Im misunderstanding you.
im a bit torn on medel. his defensive aggression is very good. his passing (short) also seems very good. but i don’t think he is effective if thats the right word (in terms of successful tackles, and build up play). i think suarez will complete the midfield more than medel. suarez got passing (short and long), good tackling and hight. imo he’s a better fit.
as i said I’m a bit torn on this one, you got some fair points. medel has a very good passing statistic. but, i think he lack hight and passing range. medel i think is a destroyer and suarez is a regista it seems.
Thru. spot on.
