James Milner, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan, Joe Gomez, Nathaniel Clyne and Roberto Firmino don’t seem to be enough in the lavish recruitment of Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool.
This recruitment could continue with an Inter player, not Mateo Kovacic, for which the interest now seems to have slowed down, but Gary Medel.
The Chilean is said to have convinced Brendan Rodgers with his performances in Chile’s successful Copa America campaign which has lead to rumours of a possible arrival at Liverpool.
English newspaper the ‘Telegraph’ has been reporting on the situation this morning. The newspaper reports that Inter are not willing to let the midfielder leave, unless of course it is an offer that is impossible to refuse.
The money received for the recent sale of Raheem Sterling from Liverpool to Manchester City could also be reinvested on the ‘Pitbull’.

He looked good in copa america but defending was garbage in the copa. The guy is almost 30 and if we can get a fat paycheck for him I think we should sell. Hes a great dmf but as a cb hes too committed and leaves hholes. Great player hopefully we can sell him and Shaq for 50mil… or add rano and make it 60mil.

Medel is important than saqiri i think.. never tired.. run and run.. sell guaro,naga first… if inter sell medel is a big mistake.. if last seasons no medel inter is nothing.. u can see medel tackling.. never give up to get the ball.

And yet again he was misplaced about couple of goals last season and being short because of his hight. Now he is runner, play from the hart and you can play him on couple of position, but It would be interesting if we roll the dice with some other players, different characteristic.
With Kondogbia and Brozovic both at 22, I’d say let Medel walk for +15m. It’s better than selling Shaq.

Medel can stay but I wouldn’t be against sending him packing if we get at least 15 mil from him. He’s a hard runner and statistically a good passer. I think him and gnou should be good for holding. If we dump Medel that means we are getting Melo or Motta. All we need is to offload Shaq and Perisic and we have a decent squad. Yea attack is a little light but the real weakness is Lat defenders.

I think the only way for Rogers to win the championship is to build several squads and compete his own teams against each other. He seems to be on the right path in doing so.
I think we need to make them pay 18 million Euros if they want him – if Sterling is worth what they got paid its a fair deal.

I would like Medel to stay, I think he could be really good with Kondogbia at CDM in 4-2-3-1. I would only sell him for a really high price like 20 millions. He had a great Copa America so his price is high.

Brozo is not competent to be a starter every week yet he needs another season to develop. He has plenty of potential just needs more time. Get rid of naga, Guarin,Taider and Andreolli and we will be fine
