Corriere dello sport reports about Xherdan Shaqiri’s situation at Inter. The Swiss international has understood Mancini’s decision even though the coach did everything to get Shaqiri during the January mercato session. Now that Mancini has changed his mind, Shaqiri has been thinking a lot. He knows that Schalke is waiting for him and he has already agreed terms with the club for the new contract, but at the same moment he is disturbed by having to wait for the transfer.
Inter and Schalke haven’t found an agreement yet because the German’s need to increase their offer. Shaqiri himself is said to have wanted to avoid the trip to China with Inter, but since the clubs haven’t agreed a deal yet Shaqiri had to travel with Inter to Shanghai. According to Corriere dello Sport there’s very little that is missing between Inter and Schalke for the deal to be done and during this week Shaqiri should join Schalke.

Feel so sorry for Shaqiri. I hope we can get Perisic and play 2 ambidextrous behind Icardi.
If he leaves we should really go all on for Perisic. He would fit perfectly. Salah remains a dream (he is going to roma it seems) . just imagine Perisic-Icardi-Salah upfront
