Inter and Pirelli have celebrated their 20 year partnership at a special commemorative exhibition in the Kerry Hotel in Shanghai.
The exhibition retraces Inter’s triumphs during their time with Pirelli with a look at the trophies, stars and stories.
Vice president Javier Zanetti was present and had this to say:
“This magnificent sponsor helped us reach the very top. I feel a strong bond with them, the same as I felt with the Inter shirt.”
Your relationship with Inter:
“I always said I wanted to end my career at Inter and I thank the new ownership for giving me this opportunity. This club is the most important thing to me.”
The support given by the Chinese fans:
“China has always been very close to us. We know we have lots of fans here who watch our games and that’s fantastic.”
Next up on stage was Pirelli Asia Pacific CEO Giuseppe Cattaneo:
“When you see Zanetti, you have to think of the values he represents. We share Inter’s passion, their competitive approach and desire for constant improvement. These are key values that Pirelli and Inter have in common.”
