Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roberto Mancini isn’t the kidn of coach that freezes players out to force them to leave.
According to the Gazzetta this was best underlined by how Shaqiri has been treated but also other players like “Santon and Nagatomo who seem destined to leave but nonetheless participate fully in training.”

do we have other names in mind if both santon and nagatomo leaves?
If you guys really think mancini wouldnt prefer santon over naga, I’m sure your wrong. Its just that we have to get rid of players and most of the players we want to get rid of arent getting the teams they think are good enough for em. So whats the next option…selling the players that are good enough to attract good teams. We have to do this because we’re trying to get better players and players need to leave. All the players u guys are praying leave instead of santon will be on their way out too right behind him. Be patient, Forza Inter!!
I don’t mind selling Santon, as long as I be 100% that Nagatomo will not be there, and Mancini is playing Di Marco there.
I don’t understand why people have problems with D’ambrosio, because he runs the most among our fullbacks and defensive wise he’s the best option. D’ambrosio could offer backup for Montoya and Di Marco, same as Dodo.
We can cash in Santon and Nagatomo.
If we have a +10 offer we should sell Rano, otherwise I let Vidic leave.
Same situation with JJ and Andreolli.
We have 2 full backs for each side (Montoya and D’Ambrosio for right and Santon and JJ/DiMarco for left—I’m not sure about Dodo)..I think we should sell Naga right now
JJ too must be sold ,
Keep Santon as he is a good backup for both flanks, unless RM is serious to keep using JJ as Full Back or even forcing Di Marco for first team.
i agree with keeping Santon. Naga can go, along with Vidic and Andreoli, Schelloto, khrin and Taider can also leave and loan out some of the youngsters.
I don’t know what the hell Mancini’s problem with Santon is. If he sells Santon, but keeps D’Ambrosio and Naga, that’s ridiculous. He’s our ex-primavera player (home-grown), a Italiano, a full back with good speed, height (which is good for a defender), versatility on left or right, the best crosser among our full backs, and also the best ability to cut-inside the opponent’s defense
i rather we sold JJ , abro , naga and vidic and rano
we dont have a full back that can cross. that is the problem
Yeah, If we qualified for European spot, a Home Grown player would be important since we also had suspension of reduced number of player to be registered for any European competition following the FFP ban, we should not relied on Home-Grown status of our 3rd GK or bunch primavera player that we might not use for that competition. Correct me if i’m not mistaken.
Thats have some logic, RM dont freeze someone, but he’s rarely change his starting 11, so for those out of his plan, the the probability to play is really thin.
