I love medel and I’m grateful for what he’s done for us, but if we can get a lot of cash for him, I think Gnoukouri can cover for him pretty well.
Sadly I don’t agree and I don’t see how people think Gnoukouri is trained enough to be able to cover his spot. Medel was voted in the best XI of Copa America. Gnoukouri had 1 or 2 decent matches last season and thats it. Its a huge downgrade at the moment. People were praising Dimarco after the friendly game in Italy, and blamed him that he is bad after the friendly vs Bayern. The point, don’t judge too quick. Just because Gnoukouri had 2 decent matches doesn’t mean he is as good as Medel.
Yes but I doubt medel will be a starter next season because we are changing the style of play. Brozovic-Kovacic-Kondogbia seems like it’s going the be our midfield next season which leaves no place for medel, unless he plays at CB.
Depends. If we play 4-2-3-1 I think he will be starting with Kondogbia as the CDMs. Even in 4-3-1-2 I wouldn’t be surprised if he started as the CDM with Kovačič + Kondogbia as the CM.
